County seeks input to Road Standards revision

(Port Orchard, WA) – Kitsap County Public Works is working with County staff, other agencies and interested individuals to revise and update Kitsap County Road Standards (Ordinance 293-2003). 

This draft version of the revised Standards provides balance, clarification and is more useful to the engineers, utilities and developers who rely on the Standards for direction. “We want to be sure to incorporate everyone’s perspectives into these revised Standards,” according to Jon Brand, Assistant Director of Public Works. “We’ve had a lot of input from interested agencies and individuals and we want to make one final push before we adopt new standards,” said Brand.
