Olympic View Transfer Station Now Open Sundays

The Olympic View Transfer Station (OVTS), in the Olympic View Industrial Park off Highway 3, is now open to residential customers on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..

“According to a 2006 Olympic View Transfer Station survey, customers wanted shorter lines and faster service,” says Dean Boening, Transfer Systems Manager for Kitsap County. “And since 43% of our customers indicated they would use the facility if it were open on Sunday, Kitsap County has decided to open OVTS on Sundays, beginning February 4.”
