County Seeks Input for Road Standards Revision

(Port Orchard) – The Department of Public Works is seeking input as they revise the County’s Road Standards. The standards set the minimum requirements for design and construction of County-maintained roads. Anyone interested in providing safe and efficient roads is encouraged to participate

Comments and suggestions received will be reviewed by the County’s Road Standards Committee. This group includes Public Works’ design professionals, municipal and development engineers and other interested members of the community. Each month the committee meets to review one chapter from the current standards. Final comments are due in January, 2007.
