The Storm Report – January 30, 2006 @ 3:15 pm

A mostly dry day has allowed road and storm water crews to make great progress in cleaning up from last night's storm. All county roads, except Sawdust Hill (closed as a result of an earlier mudslide), are open and unrestricted.

Weather forecasts call for scattered showers and partial clearing. Steady rain is forecast to return Tuesday. Areas prone to flooding, and those areas where slides have occurred, will be monitored regularly by Public Works crews.

Residents are urged to use caution when driving in severe weather and to keep storm drains, culverts and ditches free of debris.
