New Year’s resolve to get involved? Apply to serve on Kitsap County advisory groups

(Port Orchard, WA) – Making a New Year’s Resolution to get more involved in your community? Consider applying to serve on Kitsap County advisory groups. Residents have the opportunity to express their diverse viewpoints, participate in local government and provide review and input to the Board of County Commissioners by serving as representatives on county advisory groups. Applications are being accepted for the following:
• Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council
• Board of Equalization – Central Kitsap
• Central Kitsap Community Council
• Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board
• Ferry Advisory Committee – Bremerton
• Grant Recommendation Committee – Central Kitsap
• Kingston Citizens Advisory Council

• Youth positions are open on the Commission on Children and Youth for students from Bainbridge, North and South Kitsap school districts.
