South Kitsap Community Conversations continue at Olalla
meeting December 8
(Port Orchard) - Following a
successful Harper community meeting in late November along with the release
of the Draft Comprehensive Plan, Kitsap County Commissioner Charlotte
Garrido continues to engage South Kitsap residents on what they envision for
their neighborhood over the next 20 years.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8 at the Olalla Community Club,
residents are welcome to join their neighbors, Commissioner Garrido, and
County staff to share ideas and thoughts about the future of Olalla.
“The Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan is an important framework for the
future. It provides guidance on topics related to land use, economic
development, the environment, housing and human services, parks,
transportation and capital facilities,” said Commissioner Charlotte Garrido.
“These topics impact residents day-to-day life and these community meetings
are intended to open communications between local government and South
Kitsap residents on how to build a better future. I encourage Olalla
residents to attend and share their thoughts on community strengths and
identify ways to improve in the future.”
The Olalla Community Club is located at 12970 Olalla Valley Road.
