Learn about Important Salmon Species in Kitsap County

Learn about salmon habitat, life cycle, and species in the Puget Sound. Ecologically, traditionally, and commercially important, salmon are iconic in our region and influence how we manage our waters and landscape. Salmon expert Paul Dorn (Suquamish Tribe) shares his varied, extensive experience and knowledge of species and issues affecting salmon in the Salish Sea. Trainees who work 2 hours at salmon events will have class fee refunded.
What: Salmon Docent Training
When: 6:00 – 8:00 pm for 4 Wednesdays, September 30 – October 21
Where: WSU Classroom 406, Norm Dicks Government Center, Bremerton
Cost: $25 check or cash; class fee refunded to those who volunteer 2 hours at Salmon Events
