Kitsap County Public Works seeks road project
(Poulsbo, WA) Kitsap County is seeking
road project suggestions to consider as they prepare their annual 6-year
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Annual Construction Program.
The TIP is used to prioritize road improvement projects. This year’s
selection process determines which new roadway projects to include in the
Project ideas are scored and ranked using set objective criteria. The
criteria consider safety and/or capacity needs, structural conditions,
environmental issues, non-motorized needs, and funding availability. Once
the top projects are identified a formal public hearing is held to review
the prioritized projects for the TIP.
“We want residents to send us their ideas and help identify projects to
consider in the process,” said (Stephen Padua, Planner). Residents can
submit their ideas using the link below through May 15th.
