Express Bus Service and Parking Lot Shuttle Service for the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede is now provided by Kitsap County.

In 2009, Kitsap Transit's Transit Board eliminated all special bus service, including the service for the Fair & Stampede.  Kitsap County was able to secure limited funds to provide some bus and shuttle service during the Fair & Stampede, in lieu of the service that was previously provided by Kitsap Transit.

Kitsap County is contracting with the Bremerton School District for use of school buses and drivers during the Fair & Stampede.  Two buses will run from the North Parking Lot of the Kitsap Mall to the Kitsap Sun Pavilion on a set schedule.  To catch this FREE express bus to the Fair & Stampede, please park in the Parking Lot North of Kohl's.

One school bus will run through the parking lots surrounding the Fairgrounds & Events Center to provide shuttle service to the Kitsap Sun Pavilion Ticket Gate.  Kitsap County is also contracting with Agate Pass Transportation to provided an additional shuttle van during peak hours.

Due to the limited funds available for this service, the buses and shuttle provided by Bremerton School District will run on a set schedule.  Please check the Express Bus and Shuttle schedules for pick up and drop off times and locations.  Schedules are available at the Parks Office at the Fairgrounds or at the Kitsap Mall customer service counter beginning Wednesday, August 19th.

Kitsap Transit has 1 bus that runs its normal route past the Fairgrounds & Events Center.  The #37 bus will be available to ride to the Fair during its normal route. Additionally, Bus #13 runs down Central Valley Road near the Fairgrounds & Events Center.
