Greater Hansville Community Plan

Kitsap County’s Department of Community Development has worked with local residents to develop a policy document which will guide future decisions affecting this community. Your comments will assist in preparing a final draft to be reviewed by the Kitsap County Planning Commission this summer and considered for adoption by the Board of County Commissioners in the Fall.

A preliminary draft is now available for review and comment. The overall community plan combines Hansville Futures (citizen-facilitated process) and DCD (County-facilitated process). All documents are posted here.

Hard copies are available for review in the following locations: Little Boston Library, Hansville Store, Driftwood Key clubhouse kitchen.

Kitsap County will review all documents via public process, but emphasizes review and comment on the policy plan (Part IV), as this portion will become a significant component of the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan.
